If You Are UNDER 18
Bring Copies Or Originals Of The Following To The DMV

The Behind The Wheel Certificate
Drivers Education Certificate
Birth Certificate Or Passport Or California I.D. Card
Social Security Card
Learners Permit (Signed By Parents Or Guardian)
DMV Application (Signed By Both Parents Or Guardian)

You Can Use A Driving School Vehicle* , OR Your Own Vehicle For Your Test. When Using Your Own Vehicle You MUST:

Have Proof Of Liability Insurance
Have Current Vehicle Registration
Be In Proper Operating Order
Have All Brake Lights And Flashers Functioning

*In order to use a Driving School vehicle for the driving test, you must be in the course of taking lessons from that school. It is ILLEGAL to rent a Driving School vehicle.

At The DMV Expect An Hour Minimum Wait. Appointments Are Highly Recommended!
